Having water lodged in one (or both) ears can cause extreme irritation and discomfort for some people, making them feel like their ear is blocked. What’s more, water that remains lodged in the ear canal can lead to inflammation or infection (otitis externa. or swimmer's ear). Therefore we recommend that you always dry your ears carefully and never leave water or moisture in your outer ear canal.
If you plan to go swimming or take part in any other water activity, we also suggest that you use Quies silicone earplugs. These earplugs are completely water-tight, and designed to stay snugly in place. This simple precaution will let you make the most of your water activities, whether you go swimming at the pool, spend an afternoon at the beach, or simply take a bath or shower.
